W Pan Patio Cover Features and Benefits

- Factory-painted extruded aluminum beams and posts (Paint Warranty)
- .050″ roll-formed fascia gutters available in white, bronze, clay, ivory, gray, brown & black (7 colors)
- Posts with wall thicknesses of .078″ / .125″ gauge extruded aluminum available in white, ivory, or dark bronze.
- Roll-formed aluminum roof pans are available in white or ivory
- Roof pans are 3″ tall and 16″ wide and come in three thicknesses (.019″, .025″, and .032″)
- The top carries a 4-sided structural fascia guttering system. The fascia gutter is 3″ wide and 6″ tall.
- Precision-stamped fascia corners.
- W Pans are captured in the top 3″ of the fascia gutter. This provides several connection points for the pan and gutter, creating a larger channel for water runoff.
- Other than the odd cleaning, this is a no-maintenance installation (how to keep your patio cover clean!)
- The drop from the house wall to the front of the unit is fixed at 1/4″ per foot of projection.
- All quoted units are designed to meet 2022 IBC standards
- Available in both wall-attached and free-standing configurations

You will need to know your local live load requirements (lbs./sq ft & mph) as dictated by your city/municipality. Your local building department issues building permits. You may or may not need an actual permit for your installation. This responsibility rests with the homeowner. If a permit is required, we strongly recommend that you obtain it before making your purchase. A few words about permits…
However, panel thickness, beam placements, beam size, and the distance between posts out front are all functions of the loads (snow & wind) your cover will be subject to. We ask that you acquire the load requirements for your area, so that we can supply you with the ‘correct’ thickness and configuration of materials for a safe and long-lasting installation!
