Send us a picture of the inside or outside of your new installation. Use your imagination! Every month, between April and September, we will choose the best picture and award them $100.00 (US$ for US customers | CAN$ for Canadian customers). All submissions and declared winners will be posted on our WEB site and become part of our family… because we really are in this together!
Contest Rules
Photo Submission Guidelines
The ‘Join our Family’ contest runs yearly between April 1st and October 31st inclusive.
The submission of your photo means you have read and agreed to the terms, conditions, and rules outlined below.
Who May Enter
This contest is open to Home Porch & Patio Kits customers who have purchased a screen walls only kit, insulated walls only kit, hard-top screen room, four season sun room or any one of our patio covers. Unfortunately our other product lines are not eligible for this photo contest.
How to Enter
Photos must be submitted, by email to “contest@homeporchandpatiokits.com.” Submission means you understand that your photo may be used by Home Porch & Patio Kits Inc. on their WEB site(s) for marketing purposes.
In order to be considered valid contest entries, photos must follow the stated guidelines listed below.
- Your submission must include the time and date the photo was taken, along with your full name and contact information. This information WILL NOT be made public except in the following form… “submitted by Glenn S. in NH.”
- Not be digitally manipulated beyond basic cropping and editing.
- We will consider all submissions of customers past and present as long as you comply with item #1 above.
- All photos must be submitted, by email to “contest@homeporchandpatiokits.com.” No other method of entry will be accepted.
Releases
If the photograph contains any material that is not the intellectual property of the contest entrant, or if any other people appear in the photograph, it is the sole responsibility of the contest entrant to obtain the required consent and releases prior to photo submission, so as to permit use of the photograph as set out by the criteria above.
If any person appearing in the photograph is under the age of majority in their state, province, or territory of residence, then a signed release from their parent or legal guardian is required and may be requested by Home Porch and Patio Kits Inc. at any time.
Home Porch & Patio Kits Inc. reserves the right to moderate or refuse any and all photo, email and text submissions.
Home Porch & Patio Kits Inc. reserves the right to edit all video, photo, email and text submissions.
License
By entering this photo contest, you grant perpetual, worldwide license to Home Porch & Patio Kits Inc. to reproduce, redistribute, and display your work for promotional purposes in all media. Where it is deemed appropriate by aforementioned, the work will be attributed to its author (by first name and state/province of residence).
Contest Prizes
The contest prizes, known herein afterwards as participation incentives are supplied by the corporation, Home Porch & Patio Kits Inc. These participation incentives cannot be substituted. Receiving a participation incentive is contingent upon fulfilling all obligations set forth herein.
One (1) winner a month, between April and September will receive a $100.00 check (US$ for US customer / CAN$ for Canadian customer)
Judging
Submitted photos will be judged by the panel comprised of directors of Home Porch & Patio Kits Inc. with equal weight placed on creativity, photographic skill, and presentation. Judges’ decisions will be final. Judging will take place at the end of each month.
Each winner will be individually notified by email.
Right to Cancel or Suspend the Contest
Home Porch & Patio Kits Inc. reserves the right to suspend or cancel this photo contest at any time. At its sole discretion, the aforementioned sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify entrants who fail to satisfy photo submission criteria or violate contest rules as outlined above.
Limitation of Liability
By entering ‘join our family’ photo contest, all entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Home Porch & Patio Kits Inc. as the sponsors of prizes for this contest, from any claims, losses, or damages arising from an entrant’s participation in this contest.
Privacy
Personal information required for contest entry is collected under the authority of section 33(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.A. 2000, c. F-25 (FOIP) and will be used for the purposes of the ‘join our family’ photo contest only. It is protected in accordance with the privacy provisions of FOIP.
