These are designed for casement wind-out windows measuring 18″ wide or less. Casement awnings require a minimum of 6″ above the window for mounting.

Steps to placing your order:

Step 1

Per the measuring instructions below, measure the outside edge to outside edge of the window frame for both your height (A) and width (B).

The DROP measurement of the awning is how much of the window will be covered once the awning is installed. Choosing one of the drops in the table below will determine the Model # for your awning. For example, if your window is 48″ tall and you want to cover half of it, the Model #7 with a 26″ drop is what you need. A projection of 32″ is defined by the Model #7.

IMPORTANT: Your total DROP measurement needs to include a minimum of 6″ of mounting space above the top of the window.

The DROP associated with the “Window Height” (A) is only a suggestion. You may choose any of the drops within the table you wish. Choose the DROP & PROJECTION from the chart below that best suits your needs.

If mounting the awning on the window casing, measure the outside edge to the outside edge of the window casing (B). This will be the width of your awning. If you are mounting the awning on the wall, select any desired width, allowing for a minimum of 1½” on each side of the framing for mounting hardware. Sides cannot be mounted on shutters. Custom widths up to 90″ in 1-inch increments.

Step 2

Select the color(s) and pattern that best complement your home. The awning top may be ordered in a solid color or striped pattern. Support arms are always white. The base color is the first stripe at the front of the awning. Accent color would be the next stripe. The underside of the awning is always white.
