Our insulated laminated roof panels snap together tightly, forming a strong, structurally sound roof that also serves as a weatherproof barrier, protecting your patio or vehicle from the elements. Each system is engineered in accordance with your local code requirements. Your new EPS core, insulated patio cover kit will prevent any heat transfer to the underside of the unit and keep your new space 10-15 degrees cooler on those extreme summer days while standing strong against the snow loads in those winter months

Things to Know | Insulated Patio Covers

- As a materials supplied ‘kit’, the panels, extruded back-wall channel, side fascia & front gutters, posts & beams may need to be trimmed to finished size on site by the customer
- Other than occasional cleaning, this is a low-maintenance installation (how to keep your patio cover clean!).
Stain-resistant polymer-painted finish on aluminum skins.
These aluminum skins are permanently laminated & pressure-bonded to the EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam core.
Pebble embossed finish – .024″ laminated aluminum skin applied to top and bottom creates a durable dual-layer system which resists scratches, corrosion, and fading.
Available in 3″, 4″, and 6″ thicknesses
Local load requirements and desired panel span usually determine panel thickness.
The high-density 1.5 lb structural expanded polystyrene (EPS) core prevents thermal transfer to the underside of the patio cover and provides the strength necessary to accommodate the snow and wind load requirements for your area.
An optional 2″x3″ T5 aluminum channel can be built into the roof panel so you can support a fan installation.
The ‘fan beam’ allows for electrical wiring to the fan or LED lighting (purchased locally).
The drop from the house wall to the front of the unit is fixed at 1/4″ per foot of projection.
Extruded aluminum profiles add to the strength and durability of these high-quality materials-supplied patio covers
The manufacturer reserves the right to send material that is longer / wider than ordered.
As a DIY application, the customer will make the final cuts on site to achieve the desired finished size.

Panel thickness, beam placements, beam size, distance between posts out front… all are a function of the load (snow & wind) that your cover will be subject to.

How to read the table: For example… a 3″ thick roof panel will span 12’7″ away from the wall under a 20 lb. loading
